Captains compass laid in fir
A beautiful glass compass inlaid into the fir of the wheelhouse. I guess it's the sunset light coming in but this is one of those photos that when it's up on my screen, people actually stop and say, "Wow, I really like that!" Which, of course, is nice.
It's even nicer when it's a picture you took of them! Nothing makes me happier than taking a picture of someone that *they* like. Because people often don't like people of themselves. If they're a model, they've seen enough that it's hard to stand out. If they're not, often times, they don't like having pictures taken of themselves, because all the ones they've had taken of them are awful: they look fat or tired or it makes their chin too small or their butt too big.
Everyone has bad angles. Even <insert name of your favorite movie star>. My job is to show you your good angles. And probably most of them are good! Especially when the lighting is good.
